I don’t really how to explain or what to explain. I just know that I haven’t logged inSL for a couple of months. I also knew that this day would come but I didn’t know it would be like this.

I don’t consider myself a quitter but I do need an extended break from all the Second Life stress. For now, I feel the need to create real life connections and not only virtual ones even thought some of my SL connections are now part of my first life. However, the key words here are exactly real life and I need to dedicated myself with heart and soul to it and make real life bounds.
I hope you all understand that it comes a time we need new things in both lives and now it’s the time. <3

You do what you need to do and what makes you happy my friend. You’ll be missed so much but you enjoy your first life and check in with us now and then and maybe even come back when you feel it’s right. -hugss- it’s a pleasure knowing you.

I thought you probably had something happening in your real life. I’m glad it wasn’t a major life crisis.

I wish you the very best Ana. Take care of yourself.

Ana, I am happy to see you do what is best for you. Even though I appreciate your talent for bringing the latest and most exciting SL trends to light, I couldn’t be happier that you are enjoying your real life enough that there isn’t room for SL, at least for now. I never did know how you could do everything you did.

I was wondering what happened with you…
You are totally right, real life is so much more important and more rewarding.
I wish you happiness and health!

Good luck in everything, your wedding and all that lead up to that, made it a natural progression to wanting what you have achieved. You will always have a place here in SL and in our hearts and minds Ana, hugs

Actually, I have been missing my friends a lot. My RL friends who I haven’t seen in ages due to my crazy RL work schedules. I have been hiding in SL for a long time and only making virtual friends. I do wish I could have you all in my RL too but, right now, I need to get in touch with all my old friends and make new ones.
Marriages come and go, friends stay forever.

I managed to do everything I did and dedicated so much time to my blog because I didn’t do anything else in my free time. When I logged inSL, I didn’t even go out with friends and logged only to be in my studio taking photos. How sad is that…?

It’s fully understandable, Ana, and it’s also 100% true.
First life will always be the life we will wake up in, every morning. That’s the life we must cure the most. Of course, SL is another part of every SLer (I have been on breaks of months for over a year now, and I can say I do ‘miss Clio’ when I can’t be on sl), but it should never replace RL, nor should it force you to leave RL as a background.
You have all our support in these breaks, because we all feel the need to just cut SL for a while.
And well, you’re not the only one who uses SL just for work LOL… but it’s good to also have fun, some times :)

While I always enjoyed your blog and will sorely miss it, there is a lot of empathy for your feelings and situation.

I wish you all the best and hope you’ll be happy in all your endeavours!

Ana, I have read your blog for a very long time, and have always enjoyed your insights, tutorials, and fashion posts. I had wondered why you had not posted for a while, and I am glad you are alright. As a fan, I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all you have shared with fellow SLers for all this time!

I am sorry to hear that you will be stepping away, but I totally understand your reasons for needing a break. Thank you for all you have done and given here and in SL. I am glad you are caring for yourself and I wish you happiness and peace, and hope for you that if it is meant to be, you will find a balance between SL and RL that lets you feel the joy in both again.

We’ll also be waiting for you :)

I wish you good luck in establishing bonds and relationships in RL or wherever you feel best. Just remember, true happiness doesn’t come from relationships, friendships, marriage, or anything like that — real, virtual, that’s irrelevant, that’s just words.

True happiness is found inside yourself, to the exclusion of anything external to you. And once you find it inside yourself — it’s always been there, btw, it’s not something you “create”, just discover — you’ll see that it doesn’t matter much if friends come and go, or if they’re real, virtual, or both. Only your inner happiness truly matters.

I wish that you discover that this inner happiness was always there. I know it’s incredibly hard to find it! If it were easy, everybody in the world would be happy all the time :)

I’ve been lurking around in the background as a long-time reader of your blog but I feel I should now say something in light of your decision: Do what you feel is right for you and what makes you happy :-) I’ll miss your insights but your well-being is the most important thing. SL will be a lesser place with your absence. I wish you all the very best.

    Ana:

Though we don’t know one another, I feel that I know part of you from reading your blog over the last year.

I always looked forward to your product reviews and the enlightening interviews with the SL creators.

Thank you so much for all of your hard work with your blog and poses!

Your RL is important and you certainly need to get out and reconnect with friends. I totally understand about logging in SL, remaining at your studio and taking pics, not having fun. When I had my stores, most of my SL time was spent working. I didn’t want to make new SL friends or hangout. We need fun times too.

Any way, best regards to you: live, love, laugh, and be happy!
