1 – How did you discover Second Life and what made you create an account?
I read an article about it and thought ohhh this looks interesting so I created an account and was hooked

2 – How did you come up with your Second Life name?
I saw the last name Snowpaw and thought omg how cute and was trying to think of a name to go with it and I thought Kitten and it was taken so I went to a baby name website and looked for a name that meant kitten and found Sanura and it just fit I am so glad now that Kitten was taken Sanura fits me much better although I do have friends who call me kitten

3 – Lots of people only stay inSL for a week or a month after creating an account. What made you stay and what motivates you to log back in?
I started to try to build right away and while I wasn’t very successful it was the opportunity to create I used to do a lot of arts and crafts in my past but somewhere along the way I lost that creative drive and once I found it again it became an obsession. There are also so many ways to create and one day I hope to at least try them all. Also its the friendships they mean the world to me, they balance me. I never would have imagined how much these people would mean to me in such a short amount of time, they are not only my friends but part of my heart now.

4 – What have you been doing in SL? Tell us your story: what have you been up to or what have you created.
While I started trying to create when I first rezed in it wasn’t until I saw my first Neko that it clicked for me I needed those parts and I looked and looked and nothing I found fit what my ideal was so I thought why not try to make them so after many trial and errors I finally created the ones I loved and were exactly how I pictured it and I fell in love with the process since then I have created a number of things and am starting to work with clothing. I opened my shop little shop *Dreams* mid March its my little dream and I adore it. Also I lost my RL cousin this summer to brain cancer and shortly afterwards I heard about a RL thing called Wear Gray For a Day and I thought wow I could do this in SL. So I created a plain gray tee shirt and put it up for free as well as passed it out to some friends and creators, and within a few week I had others asking me about it and what they could do to help, so I created a group and started working to get other creators involved, and so many did it was amazing I am still so honored and in awe of the entire SL community for their kindness and charity. We raised over $800 USD which all went to the American Cancer Society and I can’t wait to do it again next year. I had people who came to me and shared their stories with me and they were so filled with loss, hope but most of all hope. It truly helped me to heal myself in so many ways I am not sure I would be where I am today without the SL community. I can never thank them all enough.

5 – Have you found, developed or improved any skills because of SL?
Photoshop before I could crop a photo that was the extent of my skill and now I am making multilayer things it amazes me most days. I learned many social and networking and organizational skills through Wear Gray. There are many others I am sure but that’s all that comes to mind at the moment.

6 – Could you share a funny or awkward story that happened to you in SL?
There are so many, but on that still makes me giggle was as a noob I was trying on demo hair and took of all my clothing so there I was standing in the store wearing nothing but a demo hair, and because of that memory I try to help out other noobs with tips, some great landmarks, some helpful items and some clothing.

7 – What would you change or improve in Second Life?
The bugs, lag, and better content creation protection.

8 – Can you share your current and/or future projects for SL?
Whatever I dream up next, growing my shop, and having fun

9 – Have you ever had any issues whatsoever within Second Life?
If so, how did you reported and was the feedback positive? I had an issue I lost a bunch of inventory a while back ago many items which were irreplaceable and after they walked through all the things I had already tried and it didn’t come back they basically said its just gone. That was quite a blow and it took me a while to want to shop or create again.

10 – Is Second Life merely an online game or do you consider it more of a metaverse or a virtual world?
It is what you make of it, for me it a virtual world Sanura is an extension of my RL self

11 – Imagine a new resident asks for your help. What would do? What would you tell him/her?
I have a folder with gadgets, notecards and some things I made and I try to answer any questions they may have and help them out. I remember all to well what it was like starting out and I think helping them is a way of giving back.

12 – How would you describe yourself in one word? one word huh?
ummm, a Dreamer
