2009 SL® Footwear Expo to Benefit Toys for Tots

The expo is to benefit the Marine Toys for Tots foundation, which you can read about here: Toys for Tots org

Last year’s Footwear Expo was to benefit the ASPCA and ran from July 12 – 27, 2008. We raised $3000 CAD for the cause. This year’s event will benefit Toys for Tots and we hope to totally blow that $ out of the water this year!
The event will run from November 22 through December 6, 2009. Over 50 Shoe Designers from across the grid willl be showcasing their creations (some with new items introduced at the expo!) and helping to sponsor and support the benefit. In addition there will be a fashion show, musical entertainment, a photography contest and exhibit, a huge raffle, and a massive blow-out party at the end of the Expo.

12/6 All day Live performances + djs for a full day of fun

*Other details that might interest you:
-The Raffle prize this year will have 2 grand prize winners and is already going to far outdo last year’s estimated L$ value of 40k
-Raffle prizes are being donated by content creators across the grid with everything from shoes and clothes to skins, poses, builds, etc
-We will be showcasing unique snowmen across sims made by designers and sponsors for the fair
-A full entertainment schedule has been created and will be posted on the official blog. This features regular live performances as well as djs
