Snowglobe:Frequency

Lately, I have been crashing a lot in Emerald viewer. I have been crashing so much that there are days that I don’t even want to log inSL because of the really awful experience I have been having. And I’ve heard about other SLers with the same issue on Emerald viewer. So, last night I decided to try the Frequency Edition of Snowglobe viewer which are modified versions of Snowglobe and Emerald made by Sean Frequency.
I am a fan of the Snowglobe viewer. It’s a fast, stable and reliable viewer but it doesn’t have a worn tab. At least, the Windows edition doesn’t have a worn tab and that’s a feature I can’t Slive without. Well, I could Slive but it just wouldn’t be the same (pun intended that only my Portuguese readers will get). So, I decided to give it a go and was surprised with the stability of this viewer:

Snowglobe: Frequency
This is our flagship, and contains the best features (in our opinion) from a bunch of other viewers, and some additions we created ourselves.
We aim to keep it up to date with Linden Lab’s ongoing heavy development. Or more precisely, we build our features on top of the most recent (and reasonably stable) versions of LL’s Snowglobe. So you get the best and most recent official modifications together with features you like in other viewers. Sounds about perfect, doesn’t it? :-)
Oh, also we are trying to improve usability of the viewer at the same time.

After reading that, I just had to suggest a feature that I really like on Emerald and Sean promptly answered saying it will be added in the next release! woot!

Actually, the last versions from Snowglobe already have the “Worn tab” as well as the LL Media Plugin support :)

But nevertheless, the other functions of Frequency Snowglobe (like the Restrained Life support) are not there, as well as many other goodies that Frequency already has :)

Aha! You really liked Frequency. :)

I do believe that my large (actually, huge) inventory doesn’t help my stability and I know I’ll have to reduce it to have a better performance…

Ooooooohhhhhhhhhhh… I am in Snowglobe 1.1.3 (2906) Oct 16 2009 11:21:13 (Snowglobe Release). That’s why I don’t have the worn tab and neither the new symbol in the shortcut.

I’ve tested and Snowglobe 1.2.0 (2844) Oct 5 2009 18:49:55 (Snowglobe Test Build) has the Worn Items tab! *happy dance*
