Wear Gray Campaign for Brain Cancer Awareness Fashion Show
SECOND LIFE – October 15, 2009 – The ladies of NAIL Productions are nailing and hammering again to bring you a fabulous fashion show. On October 16, 2009 at 7pmslt we are proud to strut the runway for The Wear Gray Fashion show at the Pavo Isle festival area, featuring the talents of 31 different designers from all around the grid and their gray outfits made exclusively for the Wear Gray Campaign.
From men’s suits to gowns to skins, we are pleased to be showing the talents of such great designers as Musashi-Do, Dreams, That Rocks!, BalAni’s, SUS, Coquette, Ameri’s Designs, Blacklace, .hc&co., A-Bomb, Morbid Mausoleum Designs, Cilian Gel, Kaotik Kreations, E3D, Poebe & Feeb’s, DragonLady Designs, Cat Crap!, XTC Designs, PeeBox, PixelBody, Extremely OFFCourse, Hate This, HopScotch, Kitsune Couture, Lacie Days, Lady Disdain, Larnia Kids, Ambylicious, Milady’s Fancy, RGK and DeadBunny. Wear Gray Campaign for Brain Cancer Awareness Events
SECOND LIFE – October 15, 2009 – The ladies of NAIL Productions have been hard at work hammering and nailing another great event for the residents of SL. This time we are proud to co-host along with Sanura Snowpaw the originator of the Wear Gray Campaign, a month long series of events to bring awareness to this very serious matter. Sanura began this as a one day wear gray campaign in memory of her RL cousin who recently passed on after battling brain cancer for 10 years. We decided to turn this into a month long campaign to raise as much funds as possible. All proceeds go directly to the American Cancer Society.
During the month of October we are hosting a series of events at the Pavo Isle festival area (http://slurl.com/pavo%20isle/103/150/2502) where you can find mini shops for most of the different vendors involved in the Wear Gray Campaign. Events happening during the month are: Wear Gray Fashion Show featuring specially made gray outfits for the campaign by 31 different designers. A Fair to Remember, a full day fair and candle lighting event in remembrance for loved ones lost to cancer. A sim wide trick or treat hunt with some cash prizes is ongoing, and on the last day of the event we will be having a Halloween Costume Ball.
