1 – How did you discover Second Life and what made you create an account?
I discovered SL after the credit card leak fiasco in 2006 was covered in a BBC News article, and I learnt about Second Life. So I went to the website and immediately signed up with my credit card.. go figure.
2 – How did you come up with your Second Life name?
I lack any originality with names and so I picked my RL name, and a surname which closely matched it.
3 – Lots of people only stay inSL for a week or a month after creating an account. What made you stay and what motivates you to log back in?
I met a fantastic group of people at an old SL venue called The Three Lions Pub – they had the same sense of humour as me, so it kept me coming back and I loved just hanging out and having a laugh.
4 – What have you been doing in SL? Tell us your story: what have you been up to or what have you created.
I’m a lazy bum, and I’ve contributed nothing to Second Life, I’m afraid.
5 – Have you found, developed or improved any skills because of SL?
I’ve learnt a lot about who I am in Second Life, and a lot about people from different cultures and walks of life. I find real life constricts who you meet, but in Second Life, the boundaries are very different.
6 – Could you share a funny or awkward story that happened to you inSL?
Yikes.. well there was this one time at the aforementioned pub. By this time, I’d elevated to become manager of the venue, and one evening I decided to see if the ban orb really worked (despite having banned several people before).. so.. err.. I banned myself. Obviously the orb worked and I couldn’t get back in, so I had to jump onto the staff group channel and ask if someone could let me in. They all had a good laugh at me before someone let me back in >.<
7 – What would you change or improve in Second Life?
I’d get rid of prim limits. Evil things.. >.<
8 – Can you share your current and/or future projects for SL?
I’m currently reworking my store, I’m working on a side project called “Metamoo” and I also own a bar in SL called The Crown and Pearl.
9 – Have you ever had any issues whatsoever within Second Life? If so, how did you reported and was the feedback positive?
I constantly have issues with SL – I rarely report things though. I’m lazy and plead with whichever Linden I can see online to fix my problem for me >.<
10 – Is Second Life merely an online game or do you consider it more of a metaverse or a virtual world?
Oh – certainly a metaverse. Just because you can close it with a Red X, doesn’t mean it goes away.
11 – Imagine a new resident asks for your help. What would do? What would you tell him/her?
I’d tell them to run. Fast.
12 – How would you describe yourself in one word?
Underachiever.

I didn’t get that either… maybe Prad is too hard on himself. I don’t see him as underachiever at all!

Under a-chuffing-chiever?! The boy is clearly unwell, he’s one of the hardest working chaps I know!
And I fancy the pants off him…desperately..and I’m not ashamed to admit it. ( Everyone else is ashamed mind…)
Oh, and I remember the self-banning incident, was VERY funny:)
Loving the series! =^..^=
