1 – How did you discover Second Life and what made you create an account?
I read an article in the newspaper and was curious to see what was possible in a virtual world.

2 – How did you come up with your Second Life name?
I used the first name already on several websites, and was taken due to the fact that I was looking for something.
The last name was picked out the list of Second Life, and remind me of the famous Sydney Lumet, a movie director.

3 – Lots of people only stay inSL for a week or a month after creating an account. What made you stay and what motivates you to log back in?
My photography and the urge to learn more about photoshopping did motivate my return every day again, and still does.

4 – What have you been doing in SL? Tell us your story: what have you been up to or what have you created.
I started with taking pictures, without post processing. After a while I found out about photoshopping and started to learn this program and use it on my SL pictures.
From the very beginning I was chosen to be a member of the Avatrait Gallery, and I am now the curator of the gallery inworld.
I had some exhibitions with my photographs, but lately, I spent more time on the gallery than making pictures for an exhibition, although I keep on learning every day about post processing. Where I used to post everything I took on SL, I now choose more carefully what I post .

5 – Have you found, developed or improved any skills because of SL?
As mentioned before, I improved my skills on post processing.

6 – Could you share a funny or awkward story that happened to you inSL?
The most awkward story would be that I started as an artist at the Avatrait Gallery, and that I became the manager of it.

7 – What would you change or improve in Second Life?
There are too many things that I would like to see to be changed, but I am not the specialist in these matters, and don’t know what would be possible or not.

8 – Can you share your current and/or future projects for SL?
AS curator of the Avatrait Gallery, I have a lot of things to arrange to have every month a new show with artists, who made exclusive pictures only for the Avatrait Gallery.
In the meantime I am still the official photographer of CYD RECORDS, a music label in SL, and I will be member of the crew for a machinima which will be made in August.
I was a writer for the Role Magazine, but due to the limited time I have, I did not write any articles lately.

9 – Have you ever had any issues whatsoever within Second Life? If so, how did you reported and was the feedback positive?
No, I did not…….not real issues. Just the common ones.

10 – Is Second Life merely an online game or do you consider it more of a metaverse or a virtual world?
I don’t see it as a game, it is more a social network where you can communicate and do things with people all over the world.

11 – Imagine a new resident asks for your help. What would do? What would you tell him/her?
I would give him/her as much help as I can. I did it already in the past and will do it in the future too. I remember my first days in SL, and I had to explore and find everything myself, which is also very interesting, but it would have been easier if I had some links and help.

12 – How would you describe yourself in one word?
This is the most difficult question in this interview.
I try to be open and helpful. I am a person who like to accomplish something and won’t give up that easily to reach the goal. I like others to tell what kind of person I am to them, rather than I would say what I think of myself.
