AvaLine | let’s call SL™

According to the latest press release by Linden Labs® –
AvaLine | Linden Lab Reveals Plans to Further Monetize Voice; Launches Service That Enables Residents to Receive Real World Calls in Second Life – you can, now, make a call to inworld avatars. One of the advantages, according to RightAsRain Rimbaud, is that you can share your inworld time with people that are not online. That might a good reason for using it. However, to me, it doesn’t add much. The few times I tried voice inSL, it failed and gave up a long time ago. But it’s a weird concept though. We have our avatars or unique personas inSL and these personas now have a phone number.
One question isn’t clear to me: how much would it cost me, an European, to call an avatar inSL?

Well, the nearest access number to you is in the UK: (+44 20-7100-5624)

So, the cost of calling that, I imagine.

Tateru Nino → Well, calls within the UE aren’t that expensive but Skype is way less expensive. I think that in a business perspective it could be useful.
