Flexible Sculpties!

Posted on March 5, 2009 by Ana Lutetia | 3 Comments

For now, Flexible sculpties (or FlexiSculpties) are only available in an Imprudence version that supports them. However, this is not planned for the next versions of the standard SL™ viewer but you can vote on jira 9203 asking for the implementation.
In the video (shamelessly stolen from Gwyneth Llewelyn) you can see Damien Fate’s work and the new generation of Loco Pocos avatars.

It’s such a shame this isn’t part of the main viewer yet. And even if it was, we probably wouldn’t be able to use it for yet another while. In that sense it’s bad that LL changed its policy of mandatory viewers. I still wouldn’t use in-world features like mirroring because I can’t rely on everyone seeing the effects.

But it’s promising that flexi sculpts are possible. They will have to be implemented eventually. I just hope it’s soon.
