Deliverator 0.1

Posted on October 7, 2008 by Ana Lutetia | 6 Comments

I asked in plurk if it was possible to drop stuff in a folder of contacts because I wanted to send stuff to people without going one by one in my friends list (or through search) and the awesome Jacek Antonelli, that you ought to know from Cuddlefish Junction, created the Deliverator! Basically, I had to fill the notecard inside it with the names of the people I wanted to send a gift. Then drop the object inside and click on the Deliverator. Could it simpler?

[12:29] Deliverator 0.1: Add names to the ‘Names’ notecard in my contents, then touch to begin!
[12:33] Deliverator 0.1: Loading the notecard of names, ‘Names’…
[12:33] Deliverator 0.1: Finished reading ‘Names’. There were 66 names.
[12:33] Deliverator 0.1: Finding people…
[12:34] Deliverator 0.1: Found everybody!
[12:34] Deliverator 0.1: Touch me to start delivering ‘CG Facelight 4.1 Box’, or put a different object (and ONLY that object) in my contents to send it instead.
[12:35] Deliverator 0.1: Starting delivery of ‘CG Facelight 4.1 Box’ to 66 people.
[12:37] Deliverator 0.1 *from Ana Lutetia*: All done!

I had wondered if it was a gift or from your group…so since I wasn’t able to tell you outright and polietly yesterday, thank you, Ana!

On a side note, I know I have seen a similar product somewhere when I was searching for other useful gadgets but defintely hope that when people use it that it remains for good purposes :)
