why am I bald in my pictures (in WindLight)?

Snapshots from Second LifeÂ® aren’t working properly in the new ReleaseCandidate (RC4), along with other major issues. This has been reported in other blogs:

The latest that has happened to me was my hair and sunglasses weren’t visible in the pictures! I assure I have not gone nuts. I saw them on my avie and my inventory stated that I was wearing it. But in the snapshot it simply wasn’t there. You can see the sunglasses issue in this series of pictures.

A few jira issues about pictures not working properly in WindLight:
VWR-4586 :: New snapshot dialog makes it impossible to UPLOAD snapshots at correct aspect ratio
VWR-3162 :: WindLight: Objects, avatars, and water sometimes disappear after zooming camera
VWR-3711 :: Hi-res snapshots to disk doesn’t work in a Mac

Hi Ana,

I have had the issue too, the only way I have been able to fix it is , for one you must have snapshot preview showing or whatever that is called that shows on full screen before you take shot , only way to know your losing your hair.

Then switch from to disc to postcard option it will leave your hair on , take a pic email to yourself , then go back to disc and change what you save it size wise as, take a pic and then go back to your normal settings , it usually works after that .

Very strange it is , but it will work

Oi Ana,

I have not had this problem with the windlight. Moreover, since its launch come running, everything works perfectly. The only problem I encounter today is to delay rezzing the environment, the other problems reported by the community had not.

I think it should be a question of the configurations of hardware.

Why LL not think to add a disabligng windlight feature in the options?
Windlight make very difficult also to check textures better inworld
