ROUGE - Saturday, July 5, 2008, marks the highly-anticipated unveiling of CodeBastard Redgrave’s new sim, simply named, Rouge.
Redgrave is the creator of the infamous Boudoir Rouge portrait series, developer of the MachinimaCam and Dramavatar fashion line, and owner of the Code Red Lounge and Gallery.
The aesthetic design of Rouge was conceptualized by Redgrave and legendary builder, Eshi Otawara. From that point, Otawara used her skills as a builder, designer and artist to create a multi-purpose destination that will serve as the new home of the Boudoir Rouge Gallery Walk, Code Red lounge and Rouge Boutique.
Just over 2500 prims were used to create the basic structure, artwork and furnishings. Otawara’s judicious use of mega-prims and unique textures has created a locale never before seen in Second Life. The land is formed in the shape of a female silhouette outfitted with artistic touches signature to Rouge’s proprietress. Visitors to the sim will instantly recognize Redgrave’s signature color, and the sim’s namesake, as well as her ever-present red stilettos. A black and red feather boa serves as the roof of the Gallery Walk and a shock of wavy hair provides cover for the Code Red Lounge.
The Rouge Boutique is housed inside a dance pole shackled at the feet of the silhouette. The boutique will offer selections of Redgrave’s own creations, as well as, offerings from some of the grid’s most notable designers. All items available for purchase in the Rouge Boutique will feature the color red in keeping with the sim’s theme. Designers who have already signed on to have their designs featured in the Rouge Boutique include, among others: Casa del Shai (Shai Delacroix), Juicy, Tesla, and Bluebell Productions.
Additionally, Rouge will be available for use by individuals and organizations wishing to host parties, fashion shows and other events in a unique and beautiful setting.
Rouge will open, officially, with a Grand Opening party that will begin at 2:00 pm SLT on Saturday, July 5, 2008. Events are planned throughout the day and night so that the festivities can be attended by friends from around the globe. Hostesses for the evening will be the luminous duo of Queen Coronet and LadyArwen Demina. The DJ line up includes some of Second Life’s most sought after mix masters:

Several of Second Life’s most prominent designers have signed on as sponsors of the epic Grand Opening event and will offer special gifts to invitees. The sponsors list includes:

Sevenstar Amat and Amon Mielziner from Stitch by Stitch have cuteness written all over their store. They have outfits, separates, hats, shoes and vintage furniture. All of what I am wearing (except skin, hair and nail polish) is from Stitch by Stitch.
The violet night dress was made for a party. It includes top, halter, system skirt, hip prim rose, shoulder prim rose, prim laced overshirt and prim laced overskirt. The ballerina flats have the same texture as the skirt and look good with the outfit.
frida k. is gorgeous. It is a dress inspired in Frida Kahlo and includes top, glitch pants and prim skirt. I have paired it with the frida flats.
The ophelia flower party dress is a lovely dress and comes with top, glitch pants and prim skirt. The ballerina flats black and white dotted were perfect to complete the outfit.
And last, I have paired the sevens graduation skirt with the sweet cheeries sweater in teal and finished with the gitana hat.

Shir Dryke from Ornamental Life keeps improving her clothing line. Her latests creations were dresses instead of only tops. I am looking forward to see her ideas develop because I truly believe Shir’s talent will never cease to amaze us.
Little Karma isn’t exactly a dress. It’s a set of top and pencil skirt available in 7 colors. It’s versatile and the pieces can be worn separately. The outfit includes all the layers possible for the top, system skirt, bangles and prim belt.
Wings of Desire is a colorful dress with a big skirt. It is available in 5 colors and comes with top, glitch pants and 2 versions of the prim skirt. I wanted to show you the outfit without the prim skirt because I think it also looks good and could pass for a swinsuit.

bianca Foulon from biancaF has an extraordinary fashion sense and surprising ideas when it comes to fashion. She designs awesome clothes, skins as well as accessories (shoes and jewelry). Her creations are exquisite and remarkable.
bolero graffiti is perfect for club wear. It includes the the glitter top in shirt layer, the bolero over top in jacket layers, the illustrated pants and skinny prim legs.
play fantasia is one of her latest creations. It’s a mini dress with sculpted sleeve, sculpted legs and sculpted bow in a flowery pattern. This dress is also available in other colors.
miuccia silver is a dress with an exquisite design and amazing pattern. It’s available in other colors and includes top, glitch pants and prim skirt.
drapping in white is also one of her latest creations. It is an amazing mini dress with an unique design. It is available in various colors and patterns and includes top, shorts, sculpted collar, prim skirt and earrings.

Sissy Pessoa from BAIASTICE is an extremely talented designer. Sissy’s haute couture designs are awesome and so different from the usual SL fashion we see everyday. I have the pleasure to show you a preview of BAIASTICE’s July releases. Meanwhile, you can stop by her store and check all the awesomeness in her creations.
The Ocean Gate Dark Gold is a beautiful lace dress with an asymmetric prim skirt. It’ perfect for a cocktail party.
The Parioli ‘70-brown decor has such a 1970s feeling with the pattern jacket and the big flares on the pants.
West Lace is a gorgeous and a versatile set. It reminds the Wild West but with a modern touch.
Wonky in Pink is perfect for a party where you want to stand out in the crowd. It has a balloon skirt and the details are outstanding.

It’s no secret that I am an HUGE fan of Iki Ikarus from ::DUTCH TOUCH:: and that I love almost every single thing she creates. Iki has been doing separates and recoloring some of her previous releases.
The SuNny Dresses are available in 11 colors and they are a must have for every SL closet. There are lots of tops at the store. I am only showing a few. Oh, hai thar! Been kinda busy and sadly with wasn’t with shopping :(. But now I’m back with more freebies and bargain hunts to please you all.
First, let’s talk skins. Bianca Foulon is having a sale for this weekend only, with their skins going only for 600L. Woot! Also Chai has their Summer event going on, which will last all Summer long. All of their skins are 200L cheaper, what a bargain!

It’s quite amazing to see the evolution of AvaGardner and Barbra Kungler from Kunglers. These two sisters continue to create awesome outfits to men and women with great concepts.
Athena is fun and perfect for a girl’s night out. It comes with top (jacket), glitch shorts (pants), prim skirt and bracelets.
Fiore is a summer dress with a flower pattern and a glitter detail. The set includes top (shirt), glitch shorts and prim skirt.
